Toxic: Gordon Plaza

Description: This project encompasses the community of Gordon Plaza and its fight for resistance against the terrible planning and foresight from city officials in regard to safety. Louisiana has a long history of putting its citizens second when it comes to making money. This website aims to illustrate the series of events that led up to the current fight today and how one can become involved in the process.

Thanks to the members of the community, the Peoples Assembly of New Orleans and students at Tulane's Critical Visualization and Media Lab for creating GordonPlaza.com and "The American Dream Denied." These were perfect resources to collect a clear timeline of events.
