Community Design

Description: This urban planning project revolves around impacts and opportunities surrounding segregation and injustice in U.S. cities, including Baton Rouge. The Logbook, Maps, Community Profile, and Design Interventions aim to create a cohesive plan that can answer/ease the negatives of our chosen sight.

For this project, I chose to study the South Baton Rouge Community because of its lack of active community parks and the lack of safe mobility through the community. Through the use of Thoughtful green space and dedicated activity areas, I hoped to design a better and more nurturing environment for the whole of the South Baton Rouge community.
