Description: 

Intending to connect Baton Rouge to New Orleans through a network of train stations down the bayou comes the opportunity to create a hub for life in the Rivertown community. Located Along the shores of the Mississippi River, Kenner's Rivertown is a sixteen-block historic district offering a host of cultural and family attractions. We aimed to extract as much of that essence in our envisionment of the future with careful insight into circulation patterns and the needs of the community through its retail, recreational, and refuge features stored within its superstructure. Thus creating a hub of life in an overlooked section of the New Orleans Metropolitan area.
